2. Consultations

Consultations are intended to help understand your plants, garden, growing conditions, and goals.

Recommendations are based on the information available at the time of the consultation. Plant health and growing conditions can change over time, and results may vary depending on weather, soil, light, watering, pests, and other environmental conditions.

A consultation does not guarantee that a particular plant will survive, grow, bloom, or remain free from pests or disease.

3. Scheduling and Appointments

Appointments are scheduled based on availability.

When booking a service or consultation, please provide accurate contact information and any information needed to understand your plant or garden-care needs.

If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please provide as much notice as possible.

Sweetpea Growing Grounded may need to reschedule an appointment due to severe weather, unsafe conditions, illness, emergencies, or circumstances outside of reasonable control.

4. Service Access

For services performed at your home, you agree to provide reasonable and safe access to the areas where services will be performed.

Please let Sweetpea Growing Grounded know about any conditions that may affect access or safety, including pets, locked gates, construction, damaged structures, or other hazards.

Services may be postponed or declined if conditions are considered unsafe.

5. Plants and Natural Conditions

Plants are living organisms and are affected by many factors outside of anyone’s control.

These may include:

  • Weather
  • Temperature
  • Sunlight
  • Soil conditions
  • Water availability
  • Pests
  • Diseases
  • Animals
  • Plant age and condition
  • Seasonal changes
  • Previous plant-care practices

Sweetpea Growing Grounded will provide thoughtful care and recommendations, but cannot guarantee the health, survival, growth, or appearance of any particular plant.

6. Natural Plant Care

Sweetpea Growing Grounded uses a natural approach to plant and garden care and does not use pesticides as part of its standard services.

Recommendations may include practices intended to support healthy plants, beneficial insects, and the surrounding environment.

Natural plant care does not guarantee that plants will remain free from pests, disease, or damage.

7. Plant Selection

When helping clients select plants, recommendations are based on the information available about the growing environment and the client’s preferences.

While care is taken to recommend plants appropriate for the space, Sweetpea Growing Grounded cannot guarantee the performance or survival of a plant after purchase or planting.

The client is responsible for approving plant selections and any associated purchases unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

8. Payments

Prices and payment terms will be communicated before services are performed.

Payment is expected according to the payment terms provided for the applicable service.

If a service requires a deposit or advance payment, those terms will be communicated before booking.

9. Changes to Services

Service needs can change after an initial assessment.

If additional work is requested or a service requires substantially more time or materials than originally anticipated, Sweetpea Growing Grounded will communicate any changes in scope or pricing before proceeding whenever reasonably possible.

10. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information about their plants, property, and any known conditions that may affect the service.

Clients should also communicate any specific preferences, concerns, pets, property restrictions, or other relevant information before services begin.
